Tthe Biden administration just ook steps to ease up travel to Cuba. In addition, the administration has agreed to provide much needed relief/aid to the Cuban people.
Travel Rules are Loosened
While individual travel to Cuba from the U.S. remains prohibited, U.S. citizens will be once again be able to visit Cuba as part of groups using the “People to People” exception. Licensed tour operators that we work with such as G Adventures will put together tours that meet the requirements which focus on “purposeful cultural and educational” exploration.
Additionally, flights to Cuba will now include destinations other than Havana. This is a benefit both for U.S. travelers seeking to visit parts of Cuba further away from Havana as well for those seeking to visit family members and friends in these more distant locations.
Relief/Aid to the Cuban People
The Biden administration has taken other steps to help the Cuban people. These steps include the expansion of the The Cuban Family Reunification Parole Program . Additionally the government has increased the amount of money that Cubans in the U.S. may send to the family members in Cuba.
