Norwegian Cruise Lines is proudly looking forward to the launching of its newest ship the Viva in 2023. The Viva will be the second in the Prima class of ships.

Ship Overview

The theme of the new class is to live life to the fullest. The ship is also designed to bring passengers closer to the ocean. The features of the ship that do this include its Ocean Boulevard and infinity pool.

Adventure lovers will love its thrill offerings including the three level racetrack (Prima) as well as its somewhat intimidating but nevertheless fun slides. These include the Drop a waterless slide on this class of ships that is the first 10-story free fall experience at sea. The ship also has the Rush, dueling slides. The fun on the Viva continues with its expansive game area and the Galaxy virtual experience in partnership with Top Golf.

Those who prefer to relax will have plenty of options including an upscale spa and the trendy beach club. Foodies will be drawn to the Indulge Food Hall as well as many other restaurants and bars.

The Viva will also offer NCL’s most spacious accommodations to date. This includes the largest suites as well as the largest interior, ocean view and balcony staterooms.

Itineraries/Pricing

It is set to launch in June of 2023. It will begin offering Mediterranean itineraries from Lisbon, Venice, Rome and Athens. In the winter, it will be based in San Juan, Puert Rico offering various Southern Caribbean itineraries.

The cruise prices are quite reasonable with the Caribbean itineraries starting from just $945 a person for a 7 night cruise and better yet, including NCL’s Free At Sea promotion.
