Vegas to Open First Cannabis-Friendly Hotel
A hotel where you can get high with the approval of the staff? Yes, the first Cannabis-friendly hotel will be opening in Las Vegas this Spring.
The New Hotel is the Lexi
The new hotel will be called the Lexi Las Vegas. It will be taking over the space previously occupied by the Artisan Hotel on Sahara Boulevard. Just off the strip, and without a casino this 64-room boutique hotel will offer much to those who engage in cannabis use, and those who do not.
What The Hotel Will Offer
It will offer an attractive European-style pool area that will host summer pool parties. the Lexi will also offer newly designed and attractive rooms and spaces for live music entertainment and wining and dining. The hotel will be home to a brand new Cajun-inspired steakhouse under the direction of Executive Chef Jordan Savell, from “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 19. What was the Artisan Hotel’s Bar and Lounge is being completely redesigned.
The cannabis-friendly fourth floor of the hotel will include rooms with an advanced air filtration system using oxidation cell technology.
Who Is Behind This Cannabis-Friendly Hotel Concept?
The Lexi is the brainchild of Alex Rizk, president of Elevations Hotels and Resorts. Rizk previously established a cannabis-friendly hotel in Phoenix called the Clarendon.
Rizk commented: “The Lexi allows the Elevations Hotels and Resorts brand to truly showcase our commitment to creating a new type of hotel concept that is defined not only by our acceptance and normalization of cannabis in the hospitality space, but also by our dedication to reclaim storied properties and transform them for the modern-day travelers”
