The Hotel Xcaret Arte opened in Riviera Maya earlier this year. This adults only (16 and up) resort is a quality and upscale 5-star property that has already received 5 Diamonds. The Xcaret is not only new and upscale but offers a different all-inclusive experience. They describe it as the resort that helps mix relaxation with adventure. Relaxation options include several pools and a top notch spa that is built into a cave like structure. They also offer nine different restaurants for varied but consistently excellent dining options.

Adventure options include not only sports on land and in water at the resort such as kayaking and paddle boarding but free access to any of Xcaret’s fun adventure parks. These parks offer everything from ziplining or swimming with dolphin to the Xel-Ha’s eco-tourism waterpark.

Sustainability and authenticity are also part of Xcaret’s mission. It features ecologically integrated architecture including a two-mile river for swimming and water sports.

In terms of authenticity Sakari Malinen the hotel group’s Sales Director says “Grupo Xcaret’s philosophy is to spread our love for the Mexican culture. With this hotel we’ve done it by not only showcasing the culture and art but to make so that the clients become part of creating the art”. Hotel guests have the option in participating in onsite workshops and cultural opportunities. These opportunities range from pottery, weaving and painting workshops to Latin dance and literature readings. Additionally, the hotel is furnished by local artists. Every piece of art at the resort is handmade and from Mexico.
