Of course, we are a little biased, but what a perfect place to end your cruise? Come visit Purple Light in San Diego and check out all our great city has to offer in addition to unparalleled weather. You can brave a visit to the beautiful and challenging dunes of Black’s Beach or check out the pandas and koalas in the World-famous San Diego Zoo and the rest of Balboa Park. You can also spend a day or night or several exploring the shops, restaurants and clubs of Hillcrest. San Diego grows on you so watch out!

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo is a picturesque port with beautiful sand beaches and impressive natural rock formations. If you like to be active outdoors, you will love Cabo as it offers all sorts of water and other sports opportunities. Cabo also offers good shopping, culinary options and pleasant strolling for those seeking a more relaxing day. Cabo is known for being gay-friendly and for having an “anything goes” vibe. The most popular beach and certainly one that is gay-friendly is Medano Beach, a two mile stretch of sand that hosts many of Cabo’s more luxurious hotels/resorts. If you get a chance to get away from the port, consider a trip to El Arco De Cabo, the incredible rock formations known as Land’s End which is one of the most recognizable sites in Cabo. For lunch, there is a wide selection of restaurants in Cabo to please every palate.

Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has become one of the most visited resort cities in Mexico. It also has an active gay day and nightlife. It in fact, has been dubbed “The San Francisco of Mexico”. It has warm waters and about 25 miles of beaches with views of the Sierra Madre Mountains in the background.T he old city offers colonial architecture and much history.

Downtown (El Centro) is crowded with lots of shops, restaurants, and heavy traffic. The Malecon is the main street and it runs along the water. It has a flat seawall walkway that makes it easy to walk on. The Zona Romantica also known as old town or the Southside, is the gay hub. It is an area that has cobblestone streets and older buildings and has retained much of the vibe of old PV.

The gay beach is a portion of Playa Los Muertos Beach usually referred to as the Blue Chairs Beach. This is due to the fact that the gay beach started adjacent to the Blue Chairs Beach Club/Resort by the Sea.

Mazatlan, known as the “Pearl of the Pacific” was one of the ports frequently shown on the television show, the “Love Boat”. It is a charming Mexican port with both modern and old touches. It has miles of beaches and its Malecon (boardwalk) is one of the longest in the world. Its Old Town located close to the port, offers colonial piazzas, shops and art galleries run by a vibrant artists’ community. A deposit of just $200 per guest ($400 for single rooms) is all it takes to secure your place on the most exciting Mexico cruise Atlantis has ever done! After that, it’s just a series of easy monthly payments until 60 days prior to sailing.

Traveler substitutions (name changes) are allowed only for fully paid reservations, subject to a charge of $250 per person based on the number of guests on the original reservation.
