Looking for a Pride festival in the U.S. to attend this year? Well, NYC Pride 2021 is happening! The NYC Pride Committee has put together an impressive line up of in person and virtual events. The theme for NYC Pride 2021 is “The Fight Continues” reflecting the many battles the LGBT+ community is facing both locally and nationwide.

What are the Dates of NYC Pride 2021?

The main events take place over the weekend of June 25th-27th. However, there are other events both in person and virtually that are scheduled for this month (May).

What are the Top In Person Events?

The Pride March is on June 27th. It will have a combined virtual and in person format with the details of the in person portion still be worked out.

The PrideFest Street Fair will also take place on June 27th. It will feature entertainers, food and exhibitors. It will be free to the public. They have implemented new safety protocols and are also offering a virtual option for those who feel more comfortable with that format.

On May 19th NYC Pride 2021 is hosting Pride Island. This ages 21+ event will have a hybrid format. A highlight will be Dancing Through the Decades. This event celebrates the history of being able to dance with your loved one of choice. DJ Lina Bradford will spin tunes and drag and other entertainers will perform during the event.

Two in person parties are planned. Their date and location are to be announced.

What are the Top Events to Take Place Virtually?

The Rally will take place on Friday June 25th with varied activists and other speakers all in a virtual format.

On May 26the Chef Amanda Freitag from Food Network’s “Chopped” fame and other chefs will be hosting a virtual culinary fundraiser called Savor Pride.

They will also be hosting a dance at home virtual event called Pride Island.
