Emerald Waterways will be launching this small ship to explore smaller ports in the Dalmatian Coast. The Dalmatian Coast is very popular these days with lots of alluring ports in Italy, Croatia, and beyond.

2. American Countess

Steamboat cruises in America are all the rage. American Queen Steamboat Company plans to promote that style of cruising further when they launch the American Countess which will offer varied itineraries on the Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee rivers.

3. Celebrity Flora

If being green and expedition cruises that get you up close and personal with flora and fauna are more your style, check out the Celebrity Flora. Celebrity is launching this ship for exploring the Galapagos. It is energy efficient as well as sleek and modern.

4. Norwegian Encore

For those who like larger ships with tons of activity and dining options, you may get excited by the Norwegian Encore which will begin sailing from Miami on week-long Caribbean cruises starting in November of this year. It will be the fourth ship in Norwegian’s fun-filled Breakaway Plus class.

5. Flying Clipper

For those who get a thrill from a tall sailing ship cruise, you may be excited to hear that Star Clippers is launching its first new ship in more than two decades. It will be the largest ship in the Star Clipper fleet when it launches this summer.

6. Regent Seven Seas’ Splendor

While Regent is not launching the Splendor until February of 2020, there is already considerable fanfare about this ship in particular because it will house the most luxurious suite at sea a 4,443 square foot Regent Suite where the bed alone costs over $200,000 and the suite boasts its own spa.
