Must-Have Travel Gear for 2020
We are always on the hunt for the best things you to take with you when you travel, make travel easier, or are just all-around fun travel gadgets and gear. Here are our latest suggestions for must-have travel gear for 2020.
Electronic Motion Sickness Relief Bands
There are a few of these out there, but we like the EmeTerm Anti-emetic device. Anti-emetic is just a fancy term for anti-nausea and motion sickness relief. These bands provide relief from car sickness, cruising, and roller coaster vertigo-like symptoms. We like this band because just like your Fitbit or Apple Watch, it’s rechargeable. According to most reviews, these work better than the manual pressure/acupuncture style bands and without the side effects of medications.

Toiletry Sheets
Depending on where you’re traveling, you may want to have your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. on hand. However, with TSA restrictions, those 1 oz bottles just don’t cut it. Enter Travelon’s Toiletry sheets that come in 50-count packages. These sheets are dry, but when wet, provide enough soap or shampoo for a quick wash. These would work great camping or traveling overseas. Check them out here.
Packing Cubes
I love packing cubes, but personally, I find it frustrating to buy a set of packing cubes that are all a variety of sizes. I never know what to pack in each size. The Eagle Creek Pack-It Full Cube Set comes in a set of three that are uniform in size. Find them at REI here or on Amazon here.
If you’re looking for even more space-saving, consider the compression packing cube sets. These help by getting more of the air out and packing down smaller. Just think, you could get everything in a carryon instead of a checked bag. Look at these on REI or shop this set of 4 on Amazon.
A New Travel Pillow
We’ve all seen the bulky neck pillows that supposedly make sleep better on an airplane. But who wants to carry that thing around before and after? The Trtl Pillow is more of a neck wrap with hidden neck support. It folds up flat, to about a 7×7 inch square and looks and feels more like a scarf than a bulky pillow. Take a look at the Trtl pillows here.
