It Will Be Easier to Get Into Thailand Starting July 1
Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has made it easier to enter Thailand. It announced that effective July 1, 2022 foreign visitors will no longer have to register for the Thailand Pass or procure health insurance coverage of at least $10,000. Prior to July 1 these requirements will be in effect for everyone other than Thai nationals.
Starting July 1 foreign visitors only need show either that they have been fully vaccinated or produce a negative COVID test within 72 hours of travel.
Random testing/health checks will be conducted upon arrivals at both Thailand’s international airports and its land border checkpoints.
Additionally, in more good news, the CCSA approved Bangkok and the country’s 76 country provinces as “green zone” areas. This means that they can resume normal businesses and activities nationwide.
