We Stopped at Two Ports in Egypt. At the First We Ventured to Luxor to See Its Temple and the Valley of the Kings

The Temple Offered Some Impressive Sphinx Statues

The Temple Attracts Visitors from All Over the World

We Got a Good Workout Assessing the Various Tombs in The Valley of the Kings.

But Their Contents Did Not Disappoint.

We Then Stopped in Cairo To See the Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum in Giza.

The Pyramids and Sphinx Are As Impressive As Anything in the World

And Inspired Us to Take Our First Camel Ride

VACAYA Arranged for a Lovely Nile River Luncheon Cruise With Belly Dancer and Whirling Dervish Entertainment.

In the Afternoon, We Went to the Cairo Museum Which Offers Some Impressive Pieces.

Back on Ship, VACAYA Hosted an Egyptian Themed Cocktail Party. Here We Are With VACAYA Staff Member/Angel and DJ Jojo

Dave and Jen From VACAYA Raised the Costume Ante As the Night Went On

The First Stop After Going Through the Canal Was the Charming Port of Limassol, Cyprus.

Limassol Offered Beaches, Cafes, and some Historic Sights Where Richard the Lionhearted Was Married.

Returning to the Ship Tori Scott, One of Our Favorite Entertainers Who Recently Finished a National UK Tour of the “Cher Show” Put On a Great Show. VACAYA’s Entertainers Were Top Notch Throughout the Cruise.

We Then Stopped in Rhodes, Greece Which Offers Beauty and History

The Next Day We Arrived at Nafplion Harbor, the Gateway to the Ancient Ruins of Epidaurus and Mycenae

We Toured the Remarkably Well-Preserved Theater of Epidaurus With Its Legendarily Fine Acoustics

We Also Toured Mycenae Including Its Iconic Lion’s Gate

Mycenae Also Offered Great View of Ancient Sparta Which Did Not Particularly Interest a Local Feline

Our VACAYA Cruise Ended in Athens. We Spent a Night There and Had a Private Tour to See the Acropolis Once Again From a Distance

And Up Close.

And Saw the Changing of the Guard at the Palace

Again the Local Feline Had Other Priorities
