The first new land based on the popular movie “Frozen” is set to open at Hong Kong Disneyland next year.

Guests from around the world recently attended a ceremony celebrating the much anticipated new land opening.

World of Frozen will feature a Scandinavian-inspired Arendelle Village set to show a “summer snow day”. It will feature Nordic-inspired architecture, two rides, a stage show, and dining and shopping options. It will also include character interactions with Elsa and Anna.

The opening of “World of Frozen” is being watched by Disney fans not only those who hope to travel to Hong Kong but those who prefer to stay in California. A long-term plan had been created back in 2021 to expand Disneyland in Anaheim to include a new “Frozen” inspired land and the Hong Kong park may act as a catalyst to the Anaheim expansion moving forward.
