As of June 19, 2022 the Bahamas are now easier to visit. Restrictions have been loosened for both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers. Previously, even vaccinated travelers to the Bahamas needed to show a recent negative COVI-19 test. Now, however fully vaccinated travelers only need to show proof of their vaccination. A negative COVID test result is no longer required.

The rules have gotten easier for unvaccinated travelers. Prior to June 19th all unvaccinated travelers ages 12 and older needed to show a negative PCR test within 3 days of arrival in the Bahamas. Now, while this test requirement has been extended to travelers ages 2 and older, rapid antigen as well as PCR tests are now acceptable. That makes obtaining a negative test result to obtain entry to the Bahamas less burdensome.
