Purple Light Receives Advanced “Cruising” Training in Fort Lauderdale
The principals of Purple Light just returned from a fun and educational trip to sunny Fort Lauderdale. We were there to attend an annual week-long seminar called Cruise 360 put on by the Cruise Line Internationa Association. During this seminar we received updates on the cruise industry and had the opportunity to conduct ship inspections of several cruise ships.
One of the seminar sessions focused on the “Importance of Size!” in which we heard details about the new bigger than ever ships such as the new Anthem of the Seas as well as the many small ships that are gaining in popularity for those who want a more intimate experience.
Our ship inspections included the Royal Princess, with its elegant interior areas and a thorough virtual inspection of Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas with its impressive thrill-seeking features including the North Star viewing arm, skydiving simulator, surfing simulator, and bumper cars. We also witnessed its bionic bar robots making drinks. We have heard from a reliable source that one of our travel partners is in the process of planning an all-gay cruise on this amazing ship. From our classes and ship inspections, we have up to date knowledge that we can pass on to you.
We also spent time checking out the hot new (and well-established) hotels, bars, beaches and restaurants to assist our clients in their pre and post cruise selections.
We also fine-tuned our other “cruising” skills as we stayed at one of the most popular gay and clothing optional resort.
