In more exciting news, starting in March of 2026, Virgin Voyages will be basing one of its ships, the Brilliant Lady on the west coast. Initially after a 16 day Panama cruise from Miami, the ship will be based in Los Angeles, and offer Mexican Riviera/Catalina/San Diego itineraries. During the summer the plan is to move the ship to Seattle and offer Alaska cruises. Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin has expressed excitement about his company’s first foray into the West Coast cruise market.
