That’s why VACAYA took special care to integrate the purchase opportunity into our online booking process.
Nothing breaks our heart more than hearing from guests who elect not to purchase insurance, but then something tragic – a death, the loss of a home, etc. – happens and they’re unable to attend the event. As painful as it for us, VACAYA is unable to be your insurance in those moments. And as sad as the stories are, they’re unable to break our Terms & Conditions with you. The reason for that is because VACAYA states that to maintain our Seller of Travel licenses and to comply with all regulations, they must administer our Terms & Conditions equitably across all guests. Failure to do so risks VACAYA’s very existence.
We recommend a “Cancel For Any Reason” or CFAR policy for everyone, and for good reason: if you decide you don’t want to travel after the cancellation penalty period has begun, this type of insurance covers you against total loss. Normally I research and book hotels on my own. This year, however, I was extremely busy at work and I had no time to do this, so I reached out to Purple Light for their help in planning a trip to the Greek islands, and am glad I did! We used Purple Light when we booked our Atlantis P.V. Mexico Resort Vacation. With no additional cost to us, Purple Light made what would have been a good vacation...an amazing vacation. It is not easy to book a trip for a large group including all of the flights, rooming/accommodations and excursions. We were in New Orleans for Southern Decadence. Purple Light Vacations recommended a spectacular hotel right in the area we were interested in staying. We have also traveled to Italy, France, and Barcelona where each of their recommendations was excellent! Everything went exactly as planned.
