The Allure is the perfect ship for those seeking non-stop entertainment and excitement. And boy is it huge! The Allure of the Seas became the world’s largest cruise ship when it launched in December of 2010 and only recently was out sized by Royal Caribbean’s other ships the Harmony and Symphony of the Seas. The Allure accommodates over 5,400 passengers and was extensively renovated in 2015. It is in essence a movable resort on water, and a wonderfully inventive one at that. It is remarkable in its design which includes 7 different “neighborhoods”. The ship includes such innovating elements as its “Central Park”, a 328 feet long park with real vegetation including 27 trees. It also offers a Boardwalk meant to evoke memories of NYC’s Coney Island and a Royal Promenade that is like a shopping mall at sea. The Allure offers many options for fun and activity including zip lining at sea, and indoor ice skating rink, a carousel, 3 swimming pools, including one with a sports zone 10 hot tubs, an Entertainment Place (including an Aqua Theater) and the Vitality at Sea Spa/Fitness Center that has over 150 exercise machines. On board this floating resort those seeking food or drink have 37 bars and over 20 eating locations to choose from including the very exclusive 150 Central Park.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Thailand on a vacation that was booked thru Purple Light. Southeast Asia was new to us, and we wanted a bit of extra help.
