Gender-Neutral Passports Now Available in the U.S.
It’s long overdue. Nonetheless, as of April 11, 2022 gender-neutral passports are now an option for U.S. applicants.
Now U.S. citizens can select an “X” instead of having to choose between male and female.
This is long awaited news for nonbinary, intersex and gender-nonconforming Americans.
In more good news the TSA is working on implementing gender-neutral screening procedures at security check points. These new procedures reportedly include reduce pat down screenings and eliminating gender identification. For details on the new gender-neutral passport procedures go HERE.
