Atlas World Navigator Receives Raves On Its Maiden Voyage
Back in April of last year, we published an article about Atlas Ocean Voyages. You may check out our previous article HERE. We reported that this new “lux adventure” cruise line had the fortitude to launch their company during the pandemic. We also noted that their first ship the World Navigator would have its maiden voyage in 2021.
The ship had its maiden voyage in early August of this year and it has been receiving raves. The first voyage was a 10 day cruise from Athens (Piraeus) Greece to Alexandria, Egypt. The reporters/experts who were on the maiden voyage had very positive things overall to say about the World Navigator.
Peter Knego of Travel Weekly describes the ship as “handsome and unpretentious”. he found the dining experiences “on the whole, excellent”. He described the staterooms as blending sophisticated art deco and midcentury styling and artworks “seamlessly”. He also loved the size of the ship stating “Its size is ideal, large enough to provide plenty of space for all, yet everything onboard feels as if it’s just a few steps away”.
Gene Sloan of the Points Guy reports “there are a lot of reasons to be excited about the World Navigator” Sloan describes the ship as “intimate and stylish and well built for adventure:” He also stated that the ship is “elegant” but “not stuffy”.
