Accor Hotels Expanding The Holdings of Luxury Brand Orient Express
In 2017 Accor obtained a 50% stake in the Orient Express luxury brand and took over full ownership of the company in 2022. Since that time they have been adding to and expanded the holdings.
La Dolce Vita Orient Express
The La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers luxury train travel experiences primarily in Italy. However, they offer grand voyages that go as far as o Istanbul Turkey. They offer varied itineraries from one to five nights in length and include special interest itineraries such as Tuscany Vineyards. The accommodations and amenities are top notch for train travel.
La Minerva Hotel in Rome
This 17th century palace has been converted into a 5-star hotel and the first hotel in the Orient Express portfolio. Centrally located and quite near the Pantheon it offers 93 rooms and suites, each with a unique layout and design. Many of the rooms feature marble baths. The hotel offers a popular rooftop bar/restaurant as well as other dining options. The hotel also offers a spa/hammam and fitness center.
Their First Sailing Yacht the Corinthian Launches this Summer
In June of this year, they will launch the Corinthian, the first of its luxury sailing yacht fleet. The Corinthian will be a suite only vessel accommodating 110 lucky passengers. The yacht will offer itinearies throughout the Mediterranean with itineary lengths ranging from two to fourteen nights.
