Wondering if pride events are happening on the West Coast this year? Here are some choices for virtual and in person West Coast Pride Events for 2021.

Portland

Portland, Oregon is planning a mix of virtual and in person events for Pride 2021. Their pride which is also known as “Northwest Pride” is scheduled for June 12th-20th. In person events include a widely popular drag brunch and a two day outdoor film festival of LGBT+ films at the Lot at Zidell Yard. Virtual events include a “Couch Concert” and their Pride Parade scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 20th. For details on all their events, go HERE.

West Coast pride events

Seattle

Seattle is sticking with a virtual event this year. Their free virtual event will be June 26-27th. This year’s theme is Resilience. It will feature vendors, political content and entertainment including headliner Big Freedie. For details on this year’s virtual Seattle Pride go HERE.

San Diego

The main Pride weekend in San Diego is July 16th-17th this year. A highlight will be the 2 day Pride block party with dancing, and drag and other performances. Another important event that weekend will be the Spirit of Stonewall Rally at 6 p.m. on Friday July 16th. Other pride events will be taking place on other dates earlier in July. West Coast Pride Events

Palm Springs

This year, Palm Springs Pride is November 1-7th with most events over the weekend of November 6-7th. There is a hate crimes vigil on November 1st that is considered part of pride. The parade will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday November 7th. The two-day festival is free to the public and is again in downtown Palm Springs. It will go from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (live entertainment goes till 10 p.m.) and from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (entertainment goes till 6 p.m.).
